Love is complicated. Love can be like a rush of emotion or a fleeting moment. Love can be between newly-established lovers, longtime friends, parents and their children, and even the world around us. Petals of Paper is a poetry collection inspired by the eight types of love described by the ancient Greeks, offering an intimate and honest exploration of human connection in its many forms. Each section of this collection reflects a different expression or experience of love - whether it is romantic, platonic, or self-reflective - capturing the ways that love can impact and transform us and those around us.Petals of Paper challenges us to consider how love is a universal experience but yet an innately personal and individual journey.
